As time passed, people’s material life is gradually riching up, and the requirements for cultural life are increasing. The hotel as the necessary residence function for business people also is slowly changing, people start to demand hotels which are novel comfortable hotels and full of experiential, together with the individualized pursuit, a new type of hotel quietly rising, this is the theme hotel. Because of the themed environment and the high quality theme depict service, it wins the consumers’favor. At present, the definition of the theme hotel is not clear, and this phenomenon leads to the various names of the hotel to confuse customers, but the design of the hotel itself is not a new idea. In this paper, firstly clear the definition of the theme hotel, and through depicting the real characteristic of the theme hotel——fashionism, in order to discuss how to complete this kind of design in real world. In this research the theory of semiotics and phenomenology also other kinds of theories have been introduced, so that the result of the research can be used in other kinds of design. Also this paper is a research on a new way of design.
