A Study On The Evolution Of Associative Symbol In Ancient Characters

Since Chinese characters is a sort of logogram, associative symbol is of great importance. Compared with phonetic symbol, the evolution of associative symbol is more justified. Thus it carries more information of the evolution of ancient characters. Foundation on Guwenzi-Leibian(古文字类编),referring to other compilations of ancient characters, investigations and studies are carried out. According to the study, a characters table is made as well. Based on the evolution of the signifier points to add, save and replace the three types of detailed analysis shows that to explain the various characteristics of the evolution of the situation and to explore the complex relationship between these three types of evolution.
