In modern Chinese history,the Chinese art songs came into being in the early 1920s.The 1930s saw the rise of a lot of good Chinese-style art songs,the most significant creative achievements among which is Huang zi’s art s ongs.This article combines Huang’s creative process and creative backgroud,focusing on analysis of the creation of features of his art songs and singing style.Firstly,it introduces the backgroud of the era of his life,the life and art of thinking.Secondly,it combs his type of art song and analyze various types of representative works.The creation of his art songs features extracted from the five aspects of the theme, creative techniques, performance styles, artistic conception,and form.Finally,it sums up the singing style of his art songs in two ways which are concering the art and graping the skills.Through researching the creative characteristics and singing of his songs,the article aims to achieve a better understanding of the work,grasp the style,and tap deep mining of the cleep content and rich flavor of art songs.That is to reach a new level of grasping of art songs in vocal music theory and singing practice.
