Studies The Characters And Singing Styles Of HuangZi's Artistic Songs

Huangzi is a very important composer, music theorist and music educator in Chinese modem musical history.Contributed a lot to the development of Chinese professional music in his short life. Mr. Huangzi's composition is mainly about vocalists,of which his lyric songs are most artistically valuable. Mr. QianRenkang said that "he contributed so much in the newly exploited field of Chinese music" in his The Life and Composition of Huangzi. Huangzi was good at combining poetry with musical language both in the form and content of music《Sixiang》,《Chunsiqu》,《Meiguisanyuan》are all his magnum opuses. Huangzi' s formal educational experience both at home and abroad ensured that his composition was endowed with not only the techniques of European artistic songs but also the bright national characteristics and styles. His artistic songs play an important role in the present musical life's well in the future development of Chinese artistic songs.In this paper, the analysis of the artistic characters and singing styles of HuangZi' artistic songs is stated in four chapters.The first chapter is mainly about the general introduction to Huangzi's life and his musical creation. This section simply introduces Huangzi's family background, life environment, study experience of each period, and analyzes and discusses the forms and styles of his musical creation around his return to the country, from which we can get a rough ideal, that Huangzi's learned and refined style in musical creation and his aesthetic ideal which should have both subjective and objective beauty are inseparably interconnected.The second chapter a brief analysis of the total style characteristic of Huangzi's art song The section briefly analyzes and combs the total style characteristic of Huangzi's art song, and specifically expounds Words, melodies and instruments etc which embody his creative style.The third chapter, which is the principal part of this paper, refers to the analysis of HuangZi's artistic songs. According to different content, his opuses are divided into three types, i.e., lyric songs, poetic songs and realistic songs. Besides, there is the analysis of the form structure tonality, aesthetic characteristics, singing techniques, etc.The last chapter studies the singing styles of Huangzi's artistic songs. Coordinating the theoretical studies with teaching practices, the author interprets singing styles from the perspective of aesthetic principles and singing requirements.
