Modern Tombstone Designed Based On Chinese Traditional Culture

This paper is based on the traditional culture of China, making field investigation to medium-large cities like Beijing, Guangzhou ext. In the view of a cultural inheritor and designer,I focus on the visual function, making research about the existing cemetery, tombstone and the development impact of traditional culture on the tombstone. Combined with modern technology and human needs, and according to tombstone shape, function development, visual communication and other aspects of the city cemetery come to a conclusion that to guide the design study.The investigation found that modern cemetery and tombstone exist problem like use of chaos, broken environmental effects etc. It leads to the fact that they are no longer suitable for modern urban development trends and style. Also, the function cannot be completely satisfy the needs of modern humanistic concern.The research also includes the use environment of the tombstone, user roles, user experience, and needs analysis, and so on.After a large number of observations, interviews, and access to relevant data,analyzing data and sorting the problems.Combined with analysis of the results to draw design conclusions and do the design of modern tombstone. With the evaluation system of the virtual user Clearing of the requirements of traditional Chinese culture and achieve the design of modern cemetery tombstone.
