Nearly Thirty Years Of Henan Calligraphy Exhibition Organization Operation

Calligraphy as a unique category of art in China is the essence of Chinese traditional culture. Calligraphy exhibitions is an important feature of contemporary calligraphy that is also a prominent characteristic that is different from aesthetic activity of the ancient calligraphy. The calligraphy exhibitions and competitions are the main manifestations of the contemporary calligraphy activities.In the three decades, Henan province has become a nationally recognized calligraphy Province in a short time through the effective organization of large-scale calligraphy exhibitions with the emergence of a large number of influential calligraphers such as ZhangHai whose calligraphic works has kept the national leading level for a long term in today’s calligraphers.The rapid development of Henan calligraphy career for the three decades would be called a model of the socialization of calligraphy production in the new era.The calligraphy exhibition in Henan has increased quickly, but there isn’t any calligraphy management monograph has been published. The modern organization management is a very mature disciplines with a lot of theories and research results. Based on this, the art management has in-depth description for the relationship about organization management elements between the leadership, planning, supervision and control, which would give the theoretical support to the calligraphy exhibition activities. In addition, many articles about Henan calligraphers, works, schools and regional style, coupled with the attention for calligraphy in Henan and the relatively complete data provided very favorable conditions for this paper.In this paper, the main body consists of four parts. In the first part, there would be systematical analysis of calligraphy exhibitions in nearly three decades with the installment and classification of them. In the second part, the four elements of calligraphy exhibition that is organizational leadership, organizational planning, public opinion and organizational regulation has been put forward on the basis of the installment and classification of calligraphy exhibitions. It also considered that organization and leadership of calligraphy exhibition, organizational planning, supervision by public opinion and regulation is organizational elements, basic elements, the basis for the operation and the actual carrier of the Henan calligraphyxhibition. The third part, on the basis of the analysis and appraisal of the organizational elements, according to the relationship between organizational elements of calligraphy exhibitions and calligraphy exhibition type, the paper divide the Henan calligraphy exhibition into provincial exhibition operation, national exhibition operation, International Exchange Exhibition operation and other exhibition operation and also give a dynamic analysis. The fourth part carried out and summarized the Henan calligraphy shows the effectiveness of the activities, adapt to the needs of the community development promote calligraphy personnel training, promoting calligraphy passion for innovation and calligraphy exhibition diversification of these aspects has been discussed. It pointed out the drawbacks and shortcomings revealed by the Henan calligraphy exhibition.In this paper, in the process of using organizational management analysis for the calligraphy exhibition organization operates, summarize the effectiveness of Henan calligraphy exhibition for the art of calligraphy management to establish a reasonable reference.
