In the later period of the West Zhou Dynasty, the minorities of northwest such as Xianyun and Quanrong were beginning stronger, which always invaded Zhou Dynasty at the middle area. In order to resist the attack from the Rongdi tribes, the ruler of Zhou Dynasty devised new tactics which fighting the war on the area of northwest. However, as the war progressed, the Zhou Dynasty has been in a disadvantageous position. Therefore, the ruler also chose countermeasure which depended on another military force to keep guard on the frontier of the West Zhou Dynasty.The Qin Clan that was living in the west of Long Mountain has been growing up at the history background. The early race of Qin existed in war between the Zhou Dynasty and Rongdi tribes. From period of Feizi, every leader of Qin gave his allegiance to the king of Zhou Dynasty. From “Fuyong" to "Dafu" and "Xichui Dafu", their political standing was also raised step by step. At last, Qin Xianggong was granted titles and territories to the nobles which became a major power in the period between the West Zhou Dynasty and the East Zhou Dynasty. Because of the leading by the Lord of Xianggong and Wengong, the early Qin Clan expanded their national strength. So they succeeded to seize the area of Guanzhong by their effort in the end.
