Error Analysis Of Chinese Verb Reduplication Based On Inter-language Corpus

There are verb reduplication, adjective reduplication, adverb reduplication, nounreduplication and measure word reduplication. According to the statistics ofreduplication errors in HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus of Beijing Language andCulture University, verb reduplication error takes a considerable part of all thereduplication errors, it is an important grammatical form. Therefore, this thesis paperanalyzes the verb reduplication error.The thesis analyzes the verb reduplication errors in Inter-language Corpus,dividing them into three types based on the characteristics of all the errors: verbreduplication pattern error, verbs should be reduplicated but not, verbs should not bebut were reduplicated. There are ‘basic pattern error’‘tense error’in the first type,‘Syntactic deletion’,‘Semantic deletion’ and ‘Pragmatic deletion’ in the second type.The thesis analyze the third error type by type of writing, semanteme, syntacticconstituent, tense and sentence pattern. Then the writer analyzes the causes ofdifferent types by applying Inter-language theory and error analysis theory. The writergives some referential suggestions from the view of teachers, text books andacquirers.
