Thai, also known as Dai, Siamese, is Dai ethnic language, belonging to the Zhuang-Dong branch of Sino-Tibetan language.Reduplication is one of very common syntax expression means in Thai, of which is verb reduplication which is applied widely, and currently the researches about verb reduplication of Thai is less, so based on other related researches, the verb reduplication in Thai was used as the research object in this paper. While verb reduplication is also a very important syntax expression mean in Chinese, so after the comparison between Thai and Chinese in AA reduplication, a type of verb reduplication, the reasons of difference in syntax aspects of AA reduplication of Thai and Chinese were discussed in this paper in hopes of deepening understanding and awareness in the phenomenon of verb reduplication in Thai and promoting the study and researches about Thai and Chinese. In General, this research can be divided into two major parts, which are the study about verb reduplication in Thai and the difference in syntax aspects of AA reduplication of Thai and Chinese and reasons. On the aspect of the study about verb reduplication in Thai, we mainly discussed its nature and form, and related semantics, and syntax function and pragmatic function. On the study of related semantics, we studied the semantic conditions and grammatical meanings. On the study of the syntax function, we mainly studied the relationship between AA reduplication of Thai and its object, complement, adverb and dynamic auxiliary words. On the study of pragmatic function, we discussed from the perspective of sentence category. On the aspect of the difference in syntax aspects of AA reduplication of Thai and Chinese and reasons, firstly, we summarized the differences in indefinite object, complement, adverbs and dynamic auxiliary words. Secondly, we tried to explore the reasons from the aspects of distinctions on Typology Characteristics of Thai and Chinese and differences on basic quantity of AA reduplication of Thai and Chinese.Through the above discussion, we can draw some conclusions. On the aspect of study of verbs reduplication of Thai, Thai academics tend to be defined nature of reduplication in Thai as word-building reduplication, which may be affected by text type and effects of word-formation and so on. The semantic conditions of verbs reduplication of Thai is strong, autonomous and durative verbs, at the same time, part of psychological verbs and modal verbs can also overlap. Basic significance of verb reduplication in Thai is the meaning of "small quantities". The grammatical meaning, including the meaning of trial, repetition, strengthening and casualness, is derived from the basic meaning. AA reduplication can take with substantive object and predicate object, double object, fixed object and definite object. at the same time, it can also with directional complement and temporal complement and it can be subject to modification of scope adverbs, degree adverbs, time adverbs and be with auxiliary verb. AABB reduplication has mainly syntactic function to be predicates and cannot take an object, can take adverbial and the auxiliary verb. ABAB reduplication also has syntactic function to be predicates, and with complement, not an object. On the aspect of Thai-Chinese verb reduplication-AA syntactic difference and reason analysis, comparing with Chinese, the AA of Thai can take indefinite object with reference, directional complement and time complements and auxiliary verbs. To some extent, the differences on basic "quantity" of AA reduplication of Thai- Chinese verbs reduplication that the basic "quantity" of Thai is a fuzzy quantity, while the basic "quantity" of Chinese is a certain quantity are the reasons of distinctions on objects and complements. Differences in the principle of Thai-Chinese modifier of word order and sentence information organization are the reasons in terms of the differences of taking dynamic auxiliary words.
