Singing is an artistic means which can express the inner emotion of human, andit is the coordinated movement result between body and soul. Singing can express aperson’s mood which it may be a glad or a sad one. It is a research subject that howto express the human’s abundant inner emotion and its variation by singing.With the reformation of our country’s education system, the goal of theeducation system reformation is to enhance the students’quality. Art education hasgot more and more attention in this country, and the children’s musical education hasbecome an important cultivation direction for all the parents. But the children’smusical education, training and management develop in a wrong direction becauseof the utility factor of the children’s parents, the variety of musical teachers’teaching level.An opinion, which is obtained from the writer’s teaching practice、research andpersonal experiences, is summarized in this paper that singing can promotechildren’s health、develop children’s correct body posture and graceful body actions,and can foster children’s abilities of cognitive and social practice etc. Someimportant information has been found by studying the psychological features ofchildren from grade one to grade six. It needs different vocal musical teachingmethods for children and adult because of the giant difference in physiology andpsychology between children and adult. Some principles should be adopted inchildren’s vocal musical education, such as principles of teaching according tostudents’abilities, teaching following a proper sequence, teaching in an interaction,scientific and interesting method and the principle of mutual fusion of arts. A fewideas are proposed on the base of studying children’s vocal musical teachingmethods, such as a new concept of class is proposed in this paper, parents will takepart in with his child if this new concept is adopted, the goal of this teaching methodis to improve the children’s abilities of comprehension, creation and expression bythe coordination and discussion between children and their parents. The other idea isthat appreciative vocal musical education method can help students complete thesinging in a positive mood. This teaching method is proceeded on a base of a goodrelationship between teachers and students, and teachers should encourage and appreciate their students to improve the students’confidence. The children’spractice ability of singing and the basic abilities of teachers are also discussed in thispaper in the end.The goal of this paper is served as a link between the past and future for vocalmusical teaching activities, and also supplies vocal training and teaching methodsfor the musical teachers.
