Since the Self-efficacy had been raised by Bandura,it became an important research areain recent years. With the progress of the study, Self-efficacy theory has become increasinglydiverse, Appeared such concepts as General self-efficacy, Special self-efficacy, Learningself-efficacy, Career self-efficacy and so on, so that Coping self-efficacy emerged because ofdemand. The domestic and foreign scholars’ understanding of Coping self-efficacy changedwith the advance of the time, Early studies suggested that Coping self-efficacy is a specialkind of self-efficacy concerning with specific stress situations, the research had been toexplore its relationship with Coping style, Stress state, Emergency strategies. This studyadopted the definition of Coping self-efficacy raised by Chesney in2006, he defined Copingself-efficacy is the degree of confidence demonstrated by the individual in facing thechallenges of life by Showed reasonable response to behavior, it is the evaluation on their owncoping strategies. Coping self-efficacy includes three aspects as use problem-focused coping, stop unpleasant emotions and thoughts, get support from friends and family. Copingself-efficacy is a special self-efficacy that everybody has. Coping self-efficacy research is alsoa development to the field of Coping. This study used literature review, translation back translation, questionnaire survey andother research methods. Such statistics as exploratory factor analysis(EFA),confirmatoryfactor analysis(CFA), structural equation modeling and hierarchical regression analysis andother statistical methods were used in the research to Discuss the related issues of Salesmen’Coping self-efficacy, the conclusions were as follows:(1)Salesmen’ Coping self-efficacy contains structure consists of three dimensions, as useproblem-focused coping, stop unpleasant emotions and thoughts, get support from friends andfamily. Three-factor theoretical model are fitting better. Moreover, the reliability and validityof the Coping self-efficacy questionnaire both meet the requirements of psychometric.(2)Though the study of the mediator effect of Salesmen’ Coping self-efficacy betweenjob stress and job performance, we reached that three dimensions of Salesmen’ Coping self-efficacy is a good predictor of job performance, also Salesmen’ Coping self-efficacy areimportant predictors of the job stress. Use problem-focused coping partially mediated therelationship between job stress and job performance and fully mediated the relationshipbetween job stress and contextual performance. Also to the other two dimensions ofSalesmen’ Coping self-efficacy, stop unpleasant emotions and thoughts and get support fromfriends and family, they all partially mediated the relationship between job stress and jobperformance and fully mediated the relationship between job stress and contextualperformance.(3)The research discussed about the demographical variable’s effects on Salesmen’Coping self-efficacy.We found that the Salesmen of different sex have significant differenceson use problem-focused coping and stop unpleasant emotions and thoughts, get support fromfriends and family don’t have significant differences on sex; The Salesmen of different agedon’t have significant differences on all of the three dimensions of Coping self-efficacy; TheSalesmen of different education have significant differences on use problem-focused copingand stop unpleasant emotions and thoughts, On the contrary get support from friends andfamily don’t have significant differences; The Salesmen of different working year havesignificant differences on all of the three dimensions of Coping self-efficacy.Finally, current limitations and future research orientation were also discussed at the endof the dissertation.
