The Hebrew Bible, also known as the Tanakh, its were composed of three parts, Torah, Prophetsand Writing. In broad sense, Prophets were regarded as the products of the prophetic movement. Theprevious research works of the Prophet literature are keen to talk about the ideological content and artisticfeatures of the Prophet and rarely examine the historical background and cultural environment of itscreation. Many scholars concerned about the social attributes of the prophets. Some people made use ofsociology of literature to examine the prophets, while they looked them as a cultural group and ignored thatone prophet how to play his prophetic role. The Elijah text belongs to narrative style, and many partsdescribed the interactive relationship between Elijah actions and Israel society, which can provide the cluesfor us to understand the relationship between the prophet and social. Foreign research on the relationshipbetween the prophet and the Israel society is mainly concentrated on two aspects, History of criticismtextural and cultural anthropology, both of them mainly talk about the social and cultural environment ofthe literature, a whole belongs to the external study of the literature.This article mainly research on the interaction relationship between Elijah and social which wasElijah lived. This article is divided into three parts of introduction, main body, and conclusion.The introduction is divided into three. The first section describes the overview the Elijah text.The second section is an overview of the previous achievements. The third section summarizes the ideasand methods.Chapter Ⅰdiscusses the relationship between the cultural anthropology of the Hebrew Bible andthe Comparative Literature.Chapter Ⅱmakes use of History of criticism textural to discuss author and form of the Elijah text.Chapter Ⅲ makes use of cultural anthropology theory and materials to study the Elijah text.Chapter IV makes use of cultural anthropology to research the confrontation between Elijah andthe Baal prophets.Chapter Ⅳ talks about Elijah in Elijah that looks like Moses, Elijah as a Moses type prophet intext. The conclusion was concluded the full text, make sure that can clarify some basic understandingof the prophets of Israel, especially Elijah. It is necessary to use cultural anthropology to research therelationship between literature and society, which can contribute to understanding of the text.
