Based on the inequalitybetween the western powers and undeveloped countries in the fields of politics andeconomy, the cultural imperialism theory indicates that the western nations havedumped their ideological and cultural products to the undeveloped countries with theiradvanced communication technology. By doing so, the westerners have furtherenhanced their political and economic strength. The cultural imperialism theoryemphasizes that the people of undeveloped countries would be easilyspiritually-controlled by the western cultural products through the mass media.Being one of the most important export products of America, the Hollywoodmovies have served as a vanguard for American cultural imperial. The author paysattention to Hollywood movies under the perspective of cultural imperialism in a wayto analyze the frame and core components of the Hollywood Imperial.
