This paper is precisely to take such a way, Try to integrate the Buddhist culture into artistic creation of the modeling of cartoon characters.Creative ideas in this paper are carried out so:firstly, try to integrate Buddhist culture into the animated character model, There must be a story script of Buddhist cultural. According to the story script, extract the characters which need to create, and then proceed to the creation of characters. So, I readied a lot of literary works relevant to the Buddhist culture, formed the story script that called Zero of Desire in the early part of the thesis, then, extract the characters which need to create, went into the character creation stage. At the early stage of the creation of characters, buy further understanding of the Buddhist paintings, select from some representative temple murals and symbolic elements that on behalf the Buddhist culture. After created the cartoon characters, I founded the characters that I drawing were form like but the demeanor unlike. To solve this problem, at the later stages of my character set,I through comprehending the insights of the Buddhist culture, Integrated some of the classics Buddhist culture and view into the cartoon characters creation. To achieve the purpose that the animated characters image set reflect the Buddhist culture on the charm.Overall, this paper takes animated characters setting as a clue, and takes integrating Buddhist culture as a core, from the created story script Zero of Desire which containing Buddhist culture extract the characters and then began characters setting. At the beginning, by absorb Buddhist elements of the painting to begin characters setting, then, through depth understanding of Buddhist culture, finally, form the characters setting of Zero of Desire.
