Von Jurgen Card Case once said, the21st century is the century of visual art and the animation industry. Animation is a collection of literature, science, arts, technology, business, vision and film language in one of the art. As the media of a narrative and a kind of story-telling form of entertainment, it has been involved in all aspects of people’s lives. Animation is a special kind of art forms. Its success is reflected in the huge commercial value brought about by its cultural value. Therefore animation should have its own unique national elements and cultural symbols to achieve its unique artistic charming and vitality.Zhuang is one of Chinese ancient folk with its long history. The background of this paper is mainly drawn from mythology cultural background, fairy tales, folk songs, sorcery, proverbs, etc. handed down from generation to generation. Zhuang bronze drum is a pearl in the treasure house of Chinese national culture.Zhuang Huashan mural is another amazing wonderful work, and Guangxi Zhuangjin is one of China’s four famous Jins. It seems that these just have the auxiliary effect, but in fact they are very important. If applied appropriately in the animation, it may create unusual effect.In this paper, the theory of integration Zhuang folk cultural elements in the character design and animation cartoon character designs, trying to find some suitable Zhuang folk culture with elements from the cartoon character animation character design theory, and explore both the integration and the associated sex, Zhuang cartoon character to inject new ideas.The main thesis is divided into four main parts. The first part is mainly from four aspects Zhuang folk culture, based on the creation of animation script, character design and animation music material resources to summarize Zhuang folk culture of animation elements. The second part is mainly about the image of cartoon character design. Respectively, discussed the type and nature of the image, the image of the design process and image design artistry, demonstrated successful anime cartoon character image is the soul. The third part is about the Zhuang cartoon character to the design. From the role of shaping, shaping the principles and methods followed elaborated a cartoon can not simply rely on the plot to impress the audience, in a commercial animation film is especially important role by shaping the image, so that it has a distinct personality, unique language and behavior to impress in the mind of the audience. The most important part of the entire animation industry is to create a vivid image of cartoon character, which is the basis of the brand derived. Milo the animation role modelling based on myths and legends of refined element, the design concept of\"fun\", the fusion zhuang wu beliefs, legends, folk culture, as well as for the design elements, with a fresh image display in front of consumers, to advocate green civilization culture.The focus of this article is in view of the zhuang folk culture of nationality, totem, legends, religious, and comprehensive character, adhering to the interdisciplinary research arts, art design,and communications, combining on-the-spot investigation with theoretical exploration, paying attention to the international background, emphasizing asked impedance, to explore the rule and grasp the integral aesthetic feel and the sense of design in the animation role.Because I lack the study of Zhuang folk culture, artistic accomplishment and understanding of cartoon characters, the artistic works didn’t reach the expectation. If I want to put the folk elements to good works, I must work harder to read a lot of literature, conduct field investigation to compensate for the shortage. So I will pay attention to the quantitative material at ordinary times, work on the study of Zhuang folk culture and the quantity of individual creation to improve the quality of my works. The innovation lies in the combination of the Zhuang folk culture elements with the cartoon character, exploring the changes of the folk culture, and relating the folk culture to folk beliefs. I hope the research and application of Zhuang folk culture can be helpful to promote Zhuang folk culture in animation cultural creative industries and give insight to the sustainable development of animation cultural creative industries.Around the changes of the folk culture has magical properties, and totems of legends, closely related to the culture of folk culture and folk beliefs related to the zhuang folk culture elements combined with a cartoon character, it is advisable to use the unique national culture and art elements, hopes of zhuang folk culture is the distinguishing feature of research and application of cartoon characters, to integrate the tradition with the fashion, and to create works with distinctive national consciousness and national spirit, apply to their own design work, this is the innovation points of this paper.
