The Study On Wen Zhengming ’s Late Regular Script Art In Small Characters

In the early period of the study after different teachers,Wen Zhengming had laid a solid foundation for the mature of regular script in small characters,and the transcriptions during the period of the assistant minister made him learnt a lot of classic works,and the style of regular script in small characters was becoming more and more mature.In five years JiaJing Wen Zhengming resigned soliciting tachileik boundaries,the early regular script in small characters was more influenced by the imperial bound in statutes,after returning to Wu,Wen prove regular script in small characters mature technique and the shift in thinking,make regular script in small characters creation into the flourishing period,lots of works left to the later.Wu men calligraphy School has produced important influences on the whole gallery in late Ming dynasty,later generations often said,that Wen Zhengming is ranked first in the area of regular script in small characters in the Ming Dynasty.Wen Zhengming resigned to return to hometown at the age of ninety years old,his regular script in small characters developed into the late stage,and his regular script in small characters still improving,Wen and his regular script in small characters all became old,on the basis of the early stage of the fusion of many means,present a different style.According to the analysis work of his regular script in small characters article prove,the style is roughly divided into the following three categories:1,graceful category,take "Tai shang lao jun shuo chang qing jing jing" for example,such works more mixed with the style of WangXizhi and WangXianzhi;2,simple and strong category.Take "Zui weng ting ji" as an example,this kind of small script mixed with the taste of epigraphy,the whole feeling is hard and straight,showing the correct posture;3.The pure category.Take the "Chu ci jiu ge" as an example,this kind of style is becoming more and more mature in his80 s,and they are integrated into their own entertainment,showing a pure and perfect appearance.The coexistence of the three styles forms the rich style of the late period.Today’s gallery,the regular script in small characters of Wen drawed more and more attention since the 1990 s,most calligraphers liked the pure style,this has to do with today’sexhibition effect and the mass aesthetic,thus caused the people had some misunderstand with the regular script in small characters in Wen’ later period.In the study of the regular script in small characters in Wen’later period late,Wen’s profound and precise concept of calligraphy deeply affects me and laid a new direction for my calligraphy creation.Through copying practice,experiment and other methods to master the basic structure of brushwork of Wen’ s later period.Through trying different papers to find a suitable as writing material,then,leading to introduce my creation of regular script in small characters,and presented by sectors and banners.It is visible that the study of Wen’s regular script in small characters in hislater period not only enlightening my skills and feature,but also leading a suitable ideological thinking way forme.Therefore,the study not only has theoretical significance,butalso has practical and guiding significance.
