Wangbi’s IDEA On ’Nature And Sentiment’

This thesis mainly discusses sentiment and personality ontologyt of Wang Bi’s philosophical thinking. The whole text divides into four major parts, the first part is introduction, the second part discusses times background and theoretical origin, the third part discusses his main points and basic features, the fourth part briefly combed the evolution and impact of Wang Bi’s sentiment and personality ontologyt. Each chapter concrete structure is as follows:In chapter one, Firstly, it expounds the decline of Confucianism and the revival of Taoism which broke the outstanding situation of Confucianism, and brought a big liberation of idea and culture. While the new spirit system had not been established, the contradiction that is between scholasticism and nature, individual and social is highlighted increasingly, which became an era subject in front of Wang Bi. Therefore, Wang Bi put Taoism into Confucianism, and put forward the theory "scholasticism comes from nature ".He defused the controversy that is between nature and scholasticism from the harmony of metaphysics and ontology. In the next place, the logical development process which Chinese traditional theory of human nature is from destiny to life, and then to sentiment, which became Wang Bi’s theory origin rethinking life and human nature. The insolvency of the theory of Interaction between Nature and Man in Han dynasty led to keep people away from God, and was connected by Wang Bi’s "man first during heaven and nature" idea.In chapter two, according to the Philosophical Foundation, human nature relationship, sentiment relationship, ideal personality four aspects, this thesis analyses and summaries Wang Bi’s sentiment thought. First, it discusses that the "nothing foremost" philosophy is Wang Bi philosophical basis exploring sentiment ontology ideal personality. Second, it pointed out that Wang Bi’s judgment of human nature can be divided to human nature without good and evil, sentiment without good and bad, and this thesis analyzes its basic content. Third, it discussed the relationship of nature and sentiment of "nature with sentiment" is based on new ideas of ontology thinking about nothing and something, ins and outs, static and dynamic. In fourth, it combs logical extension and development of Saint having feeling"(Confucius) idea," sage" is the ideal and incarnation of personality.In chapter three, this chapter mainly has two levels of contents. One is a simple study on new changes of Ji Kang, Pei Wei and Guo Xiang on understanding the relationship of the nature and scholasticism. The other is that researching historical influence of Wang Bi’s nature and sentiment, personality ontology from the transform of sentiment relationship and literature concept. Meanwhile, it summarizes elaborates the theory contribution of Wang Bi’s ’nature and sentiment’idea.
