Research On The Application Of Regional Culture In Jiangnan Ancient Town’s Signage System Design

Signage system is an important part of the Jiangnan Ancient Town Tourism ScenicArea。It excellence and town scenic area overall level have a direct link，especially in thehighly competitive and highly stressful life in modern society. A good design need tohave their own utility function, but also to show a certain degree of regional culture in itsdesign. Regional culture in the southern town-oriented logo design is not a design ofform and school at all, but is the heritage of history and culture to meet the needs ofmodern public spirit civilization and aesthetic requirements.The thesis consists of seven chapters. Starting from the design of directional signs,regional cultural, as well as Jiangnan Ancient Town of about, and then the SignageSystem Design of Jiangnan Ancient Town composition, design elements andcharacteristics were discussed in detail. To analysis and summarize field visits,questionnaires and other forms of results, the purpose is to make clear of necessity ofapplications of regional culture in the southern town-oriented logo design, and toresearch and explore the visual design elements, design principles and performancepractices of characteristics in the southern town oriented identification system, and striveto create a regional cultural characteristics of Jiangnan Ancient Town. Finally, this paperis try to design the Ancient Town of Luzhi.
