The Research Of Ceramic Products Under The Conception Of Slow Design

When the current human material life becomes highly rich, serious problem comes along.What the rapidly developed industrial society and the fast-paced modern life give us is arisky and diverse society that put too much attention on gaining materials, lacksdependence and is full of excessive consumption. To combat the sometimesoverwhelming modern world, people become reconsider the basic demands of their lives.Nowadays, the harmonious coexistence of man and nature has become a globalconsensus. Accordingly, the conception of slow design has drawn more and moreattention in the design society.Slow design, as a rising design conception, was first put forward by the western countries,however the goal it aims at blends with the oriental traditional design. In this work, theimportance of slow design conception used in ceramic products’ design has beenexplained. The essential factors of ceramic design base on the conception of slow designhave been analyzed. In this paper, the idea of the design is to offer a way to let the enduser to expand their awareness, experience the product and derive pleasure from it. Thedesign work reflects the domestic traditional value and brings the customers richerspectrum of appreciation experience. At the same time, it reminds people to return to theessence of life, improve the human-nature relationships and reduce the resourceconsumption. Following the slow movement, the right creativity can bring out moresocial value.
