In this paper,through the study of the origin,background,theory and principle of slow design,the meaning and value of fast and slow.With the pass "with three different context of the artistic expression of slow design":both traditional crafts and slow design of the relationship between the nature and the slow design relations and hurried doctrine declaration and slow design,a more profound understanding of this era we need to "slow"and "slow design",finally come to the conclusion "slow" design is a design method with long-term human and earth.The core of the design is to promote human well-being,which is based on the sustainable development of the environment.Slow design is essentially holistic,taking into account the long-term and extensive nature and human relations.To this end,slow design seeks positive relationships between elements of a collaborative system,diversity and locality,and fostering meaningful relationships.In the process of slow design,it becomes more inclusive and democratic.It recognizes that we are all designers of the insights,skills and desires that exert the process of creating our world and our lives.
