This paper is based on the Yin and Zhou dynasty Jin Wen Ji Cheng(Revised Edition), and would do a classified study of its weapon. Yin and Zhou dynasty Jin Wen Ji Cheng started to publish in1984August, and finished to publish all in1994December (in1995April indeed).It included18books of11983pieces of bronze inscriptions, consisted of Ge817pieces, halberd157pieces, swords152pieces, spears279pieces,for a total of1405pieces.The first is taking the Yin and Zhou dynasty Jin Wen Ji Cheng weapon,Yin and Zhou dynasty Jin Wen Ji Cheng Annoations and Yin and Zhou dynasty Jin Wen Ji Cheng Index into a comparison, identifying the difference, for controversial interpretation of the basic inscription, making an explanation. Then carding the the weapon of Yin and Zhou dynasty Jin Wen Ji Cheng through a comprehensive and systematic review, the weapon would divide chronologically, by country classification. Each controversial weapon would be described. Judgeing the previous research and choosing the most reasonable one, or taking my own understanding. Retaining its original state for the ones which have not interpretated. Does not change every weapon in Yin and Zhou dynasty Jin Wen Ji Cheng of their serial number, so they can be read easily for readers.
