"Bayin":the Historical Pedigree And Cultural Meaning

The thesis use "Bayin", which is a classification way of musical instrument in the ancient society, as the object of study. The specific approach is as follows. Through reading and analysis of the literature data, elaborateing the basic situation of "Bayin", exploring the historical pedigree of "Bayin", the main point is to understand the "Bayin" in different periods of history changes, to analyze the reason of change in the connotation of "Bayin".This thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction mainly related to the"Bayin"in the analysis on the current situation, research purpose and significance.The second chapter mentions the basic situation of "Bayin".This chapter mainly discusses three problems, the first is to probe the relationship between the things named "Ba" in Xianqin and "Bayin" from the number "Eight";Secondly, in order to know the specific instrument and the classification principle of "Bayin", this part is to interpret all kinds of "Bayin" and to accurately understand the concrete materials of "Bayin"; Thirdly,this part is mainly explore the two different kinds of "Bayin" order.The third chapter analyze the historical pedigree of "Bayin". Based on the collected historical literature and the development of historical change of "Bayin", its history is divided into"Production Period","Development Period","Diversification Period","Return Period".Through the historical pedigree of "Bayin",it shows"Bayin"in the history of ancient music as a whole.The fourth chapter shows the inherited change of "Bayin",and analyzes the reason. According to the conclusion of last chapter, this part focus on the root cause and the essential character of "Bayin".The fifth chapter is the conclusion part. It mainly comment the development and reason of "Bayin", summarize the hidden character of "Bayin", improve the recognition of "Bayin" classification.
