Shrek seriesare four cultural products which have won a great business success and a wide influencearound the whole world. The paper exposes the thematical thought in Shrek series in the lightof montage techniques and related skills of movie art. As the masterpieces of Americanpost-modern animated features, Shrek series bring people a series of thinking andenlightenment. Some experience and enlightenment has been tried to obtain through thethematical exploration and analysis on the development and innovation of Americananimation. An ethical question is put forward in this paper that what’s the best children’sliterature?
