Study On The Poetry Anthology Of Li Duan

During the period of Tang Dynasty, the poetry creation was in its relatively cold and silent period. And just because of this, the study on the poetry of this period was relatively weak, especially on the study of "Ten Wits of Dali Period" who appeared as a poet group. The Poetry Anthology of Lu Lun is the unique sorted out one among the works of many poets during the same perios, however, a large number of poems written by Li Duan have not been sorted out which affected the research both on the poems of Li Duan and the poetry of Dali period to a certain extent. Overview the works and papers studied on the poems of Li Duan and the poetry of Dali period, the main research text of their studies was the works of those poets of Dali period, whose poems were codified into Quan Tang Shi(The Complete Poetry of Tang Dynasty). As a poem collection system, Quan Tang Shi is comprehensive in the collection of the poems of Tang Dynasty, but it also has some shortcomings. The spread of the Tang poets’ anthologies was very complicated, some other poets’ poems maybe mixed in during the spread process. The Qing Dynasty scholars brought the added sections which appeared in the spread process into the anthology without the detailed analysis when they were compiling Quan Tang Shi, which brought a great inconvenience to the later research. In this thesis, starting from the investigation of LiDuan and his friends and combining the records of The Poetry Anthology of Li Duan in the historical recorders’books and versions of the directory description works, the study focuses on the versions of The Poetry Anthology of Li Duan from the perspective of philology. The main part of this paper is the collation of The Poetry Anthology of Li Duan, based on the bronze moveable version of The Poetry Anthology of LiDuan, the author compares Li Duan’s poems in this version with his selected poems in other poetry anthologies, in order to provide some convenience for further studies on Li Duan and his poems.
