Astudy On Poetry And Prose Of Duan Chengshi

The literature can be said to be the peak of the development of Chinese literature in theTang dynasty age, many writers and numerous masterpieces have sprung up. Duan Chengshi, asthe late writer of Tang dynasty, whose representative works is You Yang Zazu and his fiction isbetter than poetic achievement, has a place in the late Tang dynasty literature. His poetry andprose is few that the total is only a little more than hundred, but with unique style and with highresearch value. This paper mainly discussed Duan Chengshi and his poetry from four aspects.Firstly, this essay researches about the life story of Duan Chengshi. Life is the source ofcreation and studying the life can understand his writing style In-depth. The record of DuanChengshi was not too little in ancient books, but a few are still vague. Such as his birthday andnative place, which is still not sure. This essay will study on his life story by adding something tofill course of his life clearly, especially the official career and improve life experience of DuanChengshi as much as possible. In this article focused on three arguable parts which are the newdiscovery of his official career and intercourse, and the verification of family members.Secondly, this paper gives an examination survey of his existing poems. There are two parts,one is the textual research of the spread of poetry in the history and the situation of description,the specific quantitative of a variety in poems and essays of Chengshi that included in all kindsof classical books, and the key mention of the circulation and content about Han Shang Ti Jin Ji.The other is the classification research of poetry, which is first to classify the genre and theme,then listing the corresponding category contained in textual achievements, which aims atspecific accounts and titles in classification, at last it will be further to explore the main contentand emotional,.Thirdly, the article writes the collection and collation of poetry. Based on the previouscollection, it has new discovery, collects classical books extensively and records dozens of his new works. Though his works is incomplete, there are new ideals and they have very importantsignificance. The more important is the objective analysis of residual punctuate and works withonly themes and without contents of the deposit account. For collation, this essay selects severalancient books which records poetry of Duan Chengshi more, compared with the contents ofDuan Chengshi Shi Wen Ji Zhu, and making mutual comparisons among various ancient booksand records, and collating poems and articles separately. The collation focuses on the topic,word which is accurate and author attributions of individual verses. It will make every effort topresent a more perfect version by collating.Finally, any creations of writer will have their own characteristics, and Duan Chengshi isalso has his own unique literary style. This article summarizes five style characteristics of DuanChengshi, the most important among them is the Allusions,Gorgeous, Strange Astringent. Then itanalyzes the reason why he formed the style, that mainly is his character.Then it discusses thecause of character and and its effect on style, such as social environment, family background andhis official career. Finally collecting and describing the evaluation of his poetry by successivegeneration, and make my judgments to every article review. In past comments, the focus in theresearch of his style of poetry and Prose is the the emergence and evolution of San Shi Liu andSan Shi Liu Ti and the previous comments is always from a comparative perspective.Overall, Literary creation of Duan Chengshi is relatively less than that of Li Shangyin, WenTingyun, Du Mu and so on at the same time, but his creation has his own distinct features. Heread widely, and use various literary forms, the most valuable are the prose and poem of Chao Ji,and the strange articles and beautiful poetry and rarely used words and allusions in dense is hismost distinctive literary style. Although the number of surviving poems is limited, we can alsomanifest the whole better. Certainly, his unique style and value of the works is worthy of furtherstudying.
