During this time, the Nanjing National Government focused onthe regime system construction, and to consolidate its dominant position on thefundamental. Censorship as an important means of the “reunification” of publicopinion has become an important part of its political system.In this decade, the Nanjing Nationalist Government promulgated a range ofcensorship regulations, and established a system of censorship agencies, in order toestablish a comprehensive set of censorship. However, its purpose is not to protectthe freedom of press and public opinion, public opinion but to reunification, andsafeguarding the regime.
