Movie is one of the important medium of intercultural communication in the globalization. The foreign films "came in" and the Chinese films "going out"’become more frequent in recent years, the movie charged with the dual responsibility of cultural propaganda and commercial interests. Cultural identity is the mandatory subject in the process of globalization has been exposed obviously through the medium of film. The "Family Trilogy" has been analyzed by film enthusiasts and the academic critics. The films which implies culture and cultural identity is the reality of the essence can not be ignored even the films has not been decorated by glamorous star cas、dazzling special effects technology and strongly promotional. Films can allow viewers to share feelings and convey emotion between interpersona、inter-ethnic and inter-country.The article structure is divided into four parts. The first part is the basic overview of cross-cultural communication of Chinese film and the cultural identity theory. The second part is based on cultural identity theory to analyze the "Family Trilogy" including analysis of the characteristics of cultural identity is rooted in the films, mainly for the metaphor of symbols、the evocation and the shape of social memory, the article also discoursed the newborn form of the two aspects of "Home" and "Patriarchal" showing in the films in the process of cultural identity change which is ongoing and construction. The third part mainly discussed the ways to build the cultural identity which can be ensured the cultural identity more smooth and effective in the intercultural communication, first is cultivate cultural attitude; second is build the cultural empathy and the cross-cultural character, and finally to establish the differentiate identity-based "New Ethic Identity". Part forth has proposed some constructive proposals for the development of Chinese film on the basis of the cross-cultural communication, including the "Universal" movie themes, establish the country’s image in the process of dissemination, finally, the article has given the strategies of how to promote the Chinese films to participate in the national communication, above all is the conscious independence of content creation; moreover, the production methods which can be fitted the local and international; eventually, varieties of marketing models for the Chinese films can get more opportunities to sparkling and shinning on the international stage.
