| With the rapid development of 5G,virtual technology and artificial intelligence,the world is facing great changes unseen in a century.The traditional communication pattern has undergone tremendous changes,and cross-cultural communication activities within the scope of globalization have undergone a key turn.But the discourse power of international public opinion is still "Western is strong and I am weak".Under this background,cross-cultural communication has taken on a new form and pattern,and strengthening cross-cultural communication has become a very important topic at present.In addition,with the vigorous development of social media and short videos,the "foreign web celebrities" group has suddenly become popular,and has attracted the attention of many Chinese and foreign audiences with its special identity and unique insights.Based on the perspective of cross-cultural communication,this paper explores the value concept and communication effect of Chinese cultural content involved in the videos of "foreign web celebrities",and provides reference experience for my country’s future cross-cultural communication.First of all,this article uses the case analysis method to screen out the three head "foreign web celebrities" on the Douyin platform as research samples,sort out the relevant content of Chinese culture involved in their videos,and lay the groundwork for the following.Secondly,with the help of semiotics "signifier" and "signified" theory,this paper uses text analysis to sort out the Chinese cultural symbols presented in the videos of "foreign web celebrities",analyze the deep meaning of these symbols,and explore the value they convey.The study found that most of the Chinese cultural symbols in the videos of "foreign web celebrities" are traditional cultural symbols,which involve topics such as traditional cuisine,traditional clothing and traditional handicrafts.With the help of Chinese cultural symbols and from a local perspective,these videos try to connect high-low context cultures,truly and objectively show the differences between Chinese and foreign cultures,try to resolve the phenomenon of cultural misunderstanding in cross-cultural communication,and convey the value concept of equal dialogue.Thirdly,by using the questionnaire survey method,set relevant variables and indicators from the audience’s cognitive level,emotional attitude,behavioral trend and cultural identity,and use SPSS software for data analysis to study Chinese audiences and foreigners in China.The degree of recognition of the Chinese cultural content in the video,and explore the cross-cultural communication effect of the "foreign web celebrities" group.According to the data,Chinese and foreign audiences have good acceptance and satisfaction with the Chinese cultural symbols displayed in the videos,and are willing to give positive feedback.It shows that the audience has a high degree of identification with the Chinese cultural content in the videos.And there is a significant positive relationship between the audience’s cognition,emotional attitude and behavior trend and cultural identity,indicating that the "foreign net red" group has achieved good communication effects in cross-cultural communication.Finally,according to the previous research,it analyzes and summarizes the experience that the "foreign web celebrities" video provides for my country’s future cross-cultural communication,and provides corresponding suggestions mainly from the perspective of the government and the creative subject.In general,through in-depth analysis and research,it is found that the cross-cultural communication practice of the "foreign web celebrities" group has provided experience and inspiration for our country.To make full use of this special group,Tell Chinese stories well,spread Chinese voices well,and show a real,three-dimensional and comprehensive China through the method of "borrowing voices". |
