Literary Field Of Early New Stage And "trauma Literature"

This thesis chooses the discourse generation of “Trauma Literature” as its studying object，adopts“field theory” which produced by famous contemporary French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu，and returnsinto the historical context of “Trauma Literature”stage.Through the examination of the different fields andtheir interaction, this thesis solves those limitations which restrict the discourse generation of “TraumaLiterature”.This thesis consists of five chapters.Chapter one introduces the theoretical background of this thesis，which is the concept of PierreBourdieu’s “literary field” theory，as well as the studying object and studying content of this thesis.Chapter two detects the external literary environment of “Trauma Literature” stage，investigates thedominating role of political field towards literary field and the factors of literature readers，and analyseshow the two elements restrict the discourse of “Trauma Literature”.Chapter three selects such literary fields which representing by literary policy，literary publication，literary critics and literary rewards as its studying object，researches the disciplinary role of literarysystematic field towards literary creative field， and analyses the constraints generated by such disciplinetowards the discourse generation of “Trauma Literature”.Chapter four takes a look at the creating body of “Trauma Literature” as its studying object. From theperspective of level and attitude of such creating body， and centering on their identity attitude towardspolitical unconsciousness， this chapter conveys how identity attitude of creating field towards politicalfield becomes the constraint of the discourse generation of “Trauma Literature”. Chapter five is the conclusion of this thesis， briefly summarizing relationships among the abovechapters and coming to the conclusion as follows：The utilizing of literary field theory to analyze the constraint of the discourse generation of “TraumaLiterature” gets the advantage over those isolated research towards a certain factor. From the analysis ofrelationships among different fields， and putting the analysis of such factors as some isolated backgroundof times， a certain author or novel， or each inside factor’s interactions in literary system together into awhole positionality， this thesis provides a relatively precise, objective and comprehensive way to analyzethe concrete condition of “Trauma Literature”.
