Comparative Study On Adverbs"Dagai"、"Yexu"

"Dagai"and"Yexu"are conjectural adverbs that are often used in modern Chinese language.This text mainly discusses the similarities and differences of these two words from grammaticalization, semantic,syntax and pragmatics.Chapter1mainly studies the grammaticalization process of these two words,On this basis,it analyzes and compares the motivations and mechanisms of grammaticalization of the two.Chapter2notes the same semantic characters of these two words,following the basic semantic interpretation of various dictionaries.Then,it discusses the possible differences between them on the semantic character and analyzes the performance of these semantic character differences in syntax.Chapter3describes and compares the syntactical character of these two words,referring to the sentence position, alternative collocation,solo use and conjunction.Also,it discusses in detail why the differences are showed.Chapter4observes from two aspects:stylistic and sentence choice of pragmatics.Meanwhile,it analyzes the results of the statistics,which can help us understand the differences of pragmatics characters between these two words.In order to have a comprehensive and profound comparison between these two words, This text combines diachronic with synchronic, the grammar patten with meaning,the quantitative statistics with qualitative analysis.
