The modal adverbs in Chinese play an important role in Chinese expression.They are a special kind of word,which makes troubles in learning Chinese for foreign students.Based on the previous research results,the author selects the similar modal adverbs "dagai" and "yexu" which are commonly used but difficult to distinguish by the intermediate and advanced international students as the research object to design the targeted test paper and questionnaire and obtain the fresh information from the research results of the intermediate and advanced international students in three universities.After testing the data by SPSS17.0,the author finds that there exist significant differences about the discrimination among those foreign students who owning the middle or senior level of Chinese.Besides,this paper presents different order of difficulty in the acquisition investigation project,analyzes the types and causes of errors and puts forward specific teaching suggestions for teachers.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part is introduction,which describes the reason for choosing the topic,the research object,the theoretical basis and the research methods.By combing the previous research situations and results of Modal Adverbs "dagai" and "yexu",we can find that the ontology research results are relatively rich at present,but the research on its synonymous angle in TCFL is not comprehensive and detailed.The second part is ontological analysis.On the basis of research results of previous scholars,the paper sorts out the similarities and differences of the using Modal Adverbs "dagai" and "yexu" and gives examples.In the third part,the design and implementation of the test paper and questionnaire are briefly explained.And then this paper according to the difficult level of discrimination items in semantic,syntactic and pragmatic aspects of the near meaning modal adverbs "dagai" and "yexu" among the intermediate and advanced international students to establish an order to compare the degree of confusion among Chinese levels by the statistical method of independent sample t-test.After that,an overall comparison is made for the differencebetween the intermediate and advanced international students’ discrimination and the difficulty ranking of comprehensive discrimination items.The fourth part analyzes the errors of the modal adverbs "dagai" and "yexu" made by the intermediate and advanced international students,and classifies them into four types of errors,they are wrong generation,wrong order,missing and wrong addition.And it also gives four kinds of examples respectively.The fifth part analyzes causes of errors in detail by combining the previous research with the factors related to language knowledge,students’ personal factors,teaching materials and teaching related factors.And then it puts forward suggestions on students’ learning,textbook compilation and teachers’ teaching.The sixth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the whole paper and points out the shortcomings of the research. |
