This article explores and researches the horse’s shape, meaning and its value of eachChinese historical stage of development. The first chapter discusses the foundation that thearts of the horse’s shape exist and develop, and briefly indicates the history of the horseevolution, domestication and use. From the second to fifth chapters discussing the arts ofthe horse’s shape, from the ancient Qin and Qin Dynasty to Han Dynasty, comb theachievement and the change of aesthetic form. Our model is divided into three stageswhich are occurrence period, development period and maturity period.The sixth andseventh chapters discuss the cultural phenomenon about zodiac horse and horse variants.The eighth chapter is about the meaning and value of the horse of the plastic arts. The lastsection is the conclusion of this paper.Recalling the ancient times in various regions of the early Chinese text and objectinformation,of which there are rich information about the horse. The early legacy ofpaintings and archaeological finds retains much vivid equine art about the horse’s shape.The relationship between people and horse in the ancient period is closer than today. Incase of the dependent on the horsepower, the ancient people had been beyond their ownlimitations,and accelerated the realization of activities in a broader region, the speed andlevel of development of human society also improved upon this. This article attempts tosystematacially survey the animals in the special status from the perspective of earlyChinese art, analyzes its unique beauty and brings spiritual significance to people. Throughthe study of the the arts of the horse’s shape, of course, it has a great significance todescribes the spirit of Chinese civilization. The arts of the horse’s shape is an importantcarrier of the culture of the horse and spirit, the horse’s personalization has a uniqueposition in the ancient Chinese aesthetic. What is called "Events of state, worship andRong", the horse is the key equipment of Rong and also a "big event" of the article.
