The success of English learner’s dictionary and foreigners to learn Chinese promptedscholars to study learner’s dictionary. To learn the structure of the learner’s dictionary is oneof the important research content. If Chinese learner’s Dictionary inherited the excellentexperience of previous lexicographers, we should have a clear understanding of the reality ofexisting Chinese learner’s Dictionary.In this thesis, using13dictionaries published at home and abroad as materials, weinvestigate the macrostructure, microstructure and cross-structure of Chinese learner’sDictionary published at home and abroad.This thesis is divided into five parts:Chapter one: the introduction. This part Include research status; the purpose andsignificance of the study; the guiding ideology of the study; research materials and researchmethods.Chapter two: the macrostructure. We give a full description of the macrostructure ofexport-oriented Chinese learner’s Dictionary. There are two aspects: receiving andestablishing lexical entries. Through domestic and international comparison, we investigatedOverall situation of receiving lexical entries, the situation of receiving new words, word level,Units and levels of the establishing lexical entries, the situation of establishing lexical entriesof Concurrence word homophone homograph.Chapter three: the microstructure. In this chapter, we used the method of from thegeneral to the part. First we summarized the mode of the microstructure. We will have a clearunderstanding of information differences and information processing degree in this entiredictionary. We will also find out the microstructure features and the essential information ofdifferent dictionary. Second, we compare the information processing in different dictionaryfrom grammatical information, semantic information, and pragmatic information, in order tosummarize the differences and problems in information processing. Third, we investigatesetting examples, including the availability of examples, the number of examples, and thetype of examples, the quality of examples.Chapter four: the cross-structure. First we summarize the mode of the cross-structure.Then we obtained the main problems in the cross-structure by comparing. The two problems are the shortage of species of the cross-structure and the uncertainty of manifestations of thecross-structure.Chapter five: Conclusion. This chapter includes a summary of the studies as well as theoutlook for the follow-up.
