The Research Of The Choreography Theory Of Performing Latin Dance Of China

The Performing Latin Dance is a new form of Dance Sports which the WorldDance Sport Federation advocates,and it is different from the traditional competitiveLatin Dance. In recent years, many big games have been hosted in the internationalarena. The famous Latin dancers, such as Lu Ning and Zhang Ding Fang, Fan wenboand Xu zhuoya combinations have got great honors in the big games of the PerformingLatin Dance, and their entries have strong Chinese elements. However,thedevelopment of our Latin dance has it’s own difficulties and deficiencies. The lack ofinnovative capacity is the most prominent. Through the literature of Latin dance, wesee that although many of our experts and scholars study it”s theoretical study fromdifferent angles,but the research of the choreography theory on the Latin dance lacksthe depth and breadth,and it seems slightly weak. On the one hand, it is one of greatconstraints on the development of performing Latin Dance. In this paper, the researchtakes the entries of Chinese Latin dancers who participated the2011Performing LatinDance Competition to the research object for the research of the the choreographytheory on the performing Latin dance in our country. From the research we concludethat the Performing Latin Dance is in the initial stage, and the research about it is verylittle, while the research of choreography theory is less. The capability of thechoreography is the fundamental power source of dance development, so the researchof the choreography theory practice play the role of promoting and planningpractice.We can reach the following conclusions and suggestions from the research：1、At present，the development of the performing Latin dance in our country stillremains the stage of learning form the foreigners.There are few competitions relatedto the performing Latin dance in our country. In addition, the research in the theoryespecially for research of the choreography theory on the performing Latin Dance isrelatively lack.As for most aspects.we are still black, which has a great gap withforeign countries.So it is one of great constraints on the development of performingLatin Dance in our country. 2、 In the choreography theory on the performing Latin dance,we shouldincorporate more elements and put characteristics form the new sort of dance art intouse. At the same time, widely absorbing the essence from all over the world and thenational cultures, so that,we can create our own characteristics about choreographingstyle at the progress of being harmony with the world. We should explore theexcellent elements in the Chinese thaditional and use it in the performing Latin dance.Form this we can make China international.3、In our country, the assessment system in the performing Latin dance is notcomplete. there are many blanks to fill. This is one of the reason why we are lack in thechoreography theory on the performing Latin dance.
