Study On The Role Of Domestic Cartoons

The role names of domestic animation are a kind of social language forms which have their unique linguistic characteristics. This paper has collected the entire domestic animation role names from the first domestic cartoon to the one screened on December312010as the basic data, and then discuss them by the model partition. By the use of rhetoric, cultural linguistics and psycholinguistics theories, the paper focuses on the description and analysis which try to perform perfect of voice, vocabulary, rhetoric and culture characteristics of the domestic animation roles.This paper will be divided into5parts:The introduction mainly illustrates the concepts of the animation roles、the researching situation and methods of this paper as well as the data sources.According to the structure characteristics of domestic animation role names, the statistics of the corpus is divided into four modes in the first chapter: name mode, address mode, species mode and characteristics mode. We then discuss the model structure of each kind by using the statistical analysis method.The second chapter analyzes the vocabulary origin of the domestic animation role names, their emotion color and the systematicness of their meanings from the lexicology perspective, which include the systematicness among the leading actors、the supporting roles、the relative roles and other role groups. The cultural connotations of those roles will be discussed combining the above analysis to sum up the second part.The third chapter, from both the phonetic rhetoric and rhetoric angles, analyses the rhetorical features of domestic cartoon character names, and explains the reason for the use of rhetoric and its effect from the audience perspective.The fourth chapter analyses from the following three aspects including the children’s mode of thinking, psychological rules and...
