Internet Addiction And Mental Health Investigate And Case Intervention Study Of Middle School Students In Xiangyin County

Internet technology brought huge changes to people’s life, but also brought a new disease——Internet addiction. Internet addiction has become one of the social problems that seriously threatened adolescent’s physical and mental health in the21st century.This paper first introduce the concept of internet addiction, the existing research about adolescent’s internet addiction disorder, the existing research about adolescent’s mental health and the existing research about adolescent’s addiction intervention. In the basis of this introduction, we use "Internet Addiction Disorder Evaluation Scale" and "SCL-90SCL" to investigate four high school students in xiangyin county. We investigate the basic situation about internet addiction and mental health of these students. We preliminary investigate the reasons and countermeasures for internet addiction and mental health.This paper have four parts. First part including the significance of the study, the concept of internet addiction, the exsisting research about adolescent’s internet addiction and mental health, the existing research about adolescent’s addiction intervention, the inadequacy of the existing research and this article’s research ideas. Second part introduce the investigation of the middle school students’ internet addiction and mental health in Xiangyin County, by the survey program, survey results and analysis of the survey results. Third part introduce the programs, processes, results, and analysis of the case intervention study of middle school students. Finally, introduce a conclusion and gievs some suggestions to middle school students’internet addiction.Study shows that, the internet addiction and mental health of middle school students needs to be highly concerned at the present, especially for boys and high school seniors. Schools, families and society should work together to create a good environment for the high school students, and guide them healthy online, and must take effective ways to intervene and control the addiction, to improve their mental health, and promote the high school students to develop comprehensively.
