This thesis takes the passive markers in Ningguo Dialect as its object,uses the theory of grammaticalization, cognitive language, typologicalstudy, carries out the principle of the combination of description andexplanation,the form and meaning, dynamic and static state, adoptsthe methods of the combination of lateral description and longitudinalstudy, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis and comparativeanalysis, study the passive sentences in Ningguo Dialect,the passivemarkers and their functionalization from various direction.The thesis is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction. In this part, it mainly introduces thegeneral situation of culture and geography, the languages in Ningguo,researching status, methods and the corpus sources.The second part is divided into three chapters. It analyses the mainpatterns of the passive sentences,the two special passive marks andtheir functionalization。The first chapter analyses the main patterns of the passivesentences in Ningguo Dialect. It describes and analyses four sentencepatterns. And compare it with the sentence pattern in Putonghua, findout its characteristic from the comparison.The second chapter is about the passive marker “Jin” and itsfunctionalization。It analyses the structural and semantic characteristics of “Jin” as apassive marker, explore the reasons for the characteristics. It alsodiscusses the source of “Jin” from longitudinal and lateral direction.The third chapter is about the passive mark “Ba” and itsfunctionalization。It analyses the characteristics of “Ba” as a passivemarker,differentiate and analyses its passive meaning, disposal meaning and causative meaning。It also discusses the source of “Ba”from longitudinal and lateral direction.The third part is the fifth chapter. In this chapter, we compare thethree passive markers and the corresponding passive sentences, try tofind out the differences between them. On that basis, we discuss thefactors which influence the choice of the passive markers and passivesentences in Ningguo Dialect.The last part is the conclusion of this thesis, including theshortcomings and the significance of this thesis.The thesis is based on language facts and investigations. It makes asystematic comparison and analysis of the passive sentences,thepassive markers and their functionalization。And the author hopes tosupply some material for grammar research on passive markers andNingguo Dialect.
