Study On Current Situation And Influening Factors Of Rural Christian

In recent years, the development of Christianity in China’s rural rapidly. According to the datas of2010Religion Blue Book report, it show that our existing Christians accounted for about1.8percent pf the country’s population, overall is estimated at2305million. Churches and meeting points are mainly located in rural. We can found that Rural Christian has become a force that to be reckoned in our society from this data, the prevalence of Christian culture will have a direct impact on cognition and behavior of our farmers, at the same time it can reflects the mental state of our contemporary farmers, it also become an important of social stability in rural areas. Compensation theory and conflict theory of the sociology of religion are considered as the main theoretical supporting in this research, using questionnaires and interview of Empirical research methods, selecting TongCheng X town as the survey location, through in-depth study and description of the region’s rural Christian faith from the individual the cognitive of faith, the motivation of faith and the act of faith in order to gain further understanding of the truth state of the rural Christian faith. This research is divided into five parts:The first chapter proposed to study the significance of the Christian faith conditions in rural areas, access to documents relevant to the study and summarized.The second chapter proposed the study design, it includes theoretical basis and research hypotheses, and the definition of the core concepts, contents, research framework and content and research methods and possible innovation.The third chapter described the basic characteristics of geographical location, economic status and the survey sample of the survey area TongCheng X town firstly. And then from three aspects of cognitive of faith, motivation of faith and action of faith based on the town of rural Christian Belief.The fourth chapter analyzed the factors of affecting the situation of rural Christian faith and examined the factors of affecting the rural Christian faith’s situation on the basis of the study of the third Chapter from the individual level and social level.The part fifth described the research findings, discussion and research inadequate. Summarized and analyzed views of the full article and proposed the improvement about rural Christian’s situation of faith from the government, the church and believers.
