In this paper by using the comparative method of graphic design and painting artform of composition research,aims to explore the differences and relations between theform of composition,And from the use of theory to guide the practice of creation, thusto continuously improve the image aesthetic purposes, for the modern plane design andtraditional Chinese painting from the mutual fusion and provide useful help。The articlestart, on both the concept and the development of a brief overview. Next, respectively tothe composition(work conveys the modern consciousness, history and development,significance and value implication characteristic, draw lessons from each other andinfluence) carried out a detailed comparison and research,The composition anddevelopment history of form and meaning, and other aspects of the comparison andresearch, to explore both the differences and correlation of composition.Compositionrule throughout the graphic design and Chinese painting creation and application of thewhole process, and reflects the strong tradition of innovation and development of theform, using a comparative, comparative method to carry out the research, it is alsobasedon contrast to each other and learn from each other.Finally, the conclusion and Prospectof discourse, has carried on the further summary elaborated: modern graphic design andcomposition of Chinese paintings are fused to each other and to draw lessons from, andcan learn from each other.The purpose of the research, is that in the design or createworks, can meet the development needs of the times, full of personality and aesthetictaste, but also with the Chinese traditional culture, embody national characteristics.
