Private enterprises is not only an important part of the national economy, but alsobecame an important support of the rapid economic growth. The talent issue has been abig obstacle to hinder the progress of private enterprises. Our research explored themultiple dimensions of attributional style of private enterprise staff turnover tendencyin the development effect, by using the attributional style of the individual factors fromthe staff (induction of the psychological characteristics of the causes of behavior andresults in themselves, and provide a theoretical basis for private enterprises to reducetheir employees`turnover intention.This article uses the Attribution style questionnaire (ASQ) and Turnover intentionquestionnaire on285randomly selected employees in the five private enterprises(including chemical companies, manufacturing enterprises and so on) in Hefei,Anhui Province to inspect and examine the results of descriptive analysis, correlationanalysis and regression analysis. By descriptive statistics of the results ofthe attribution styles and turnover intention questionnaire for all employees, we foundthat the Hefei private employees present a higher turnover intention. Thereattributional-style is biased in favor of stability. T-test about demographic factors onthe basis of all samples shows26years old to35years old employees showed thehighest turnover intention and negative attributional style, employees with higherdegrees have higher turnover intention. To the subsequent regression analysis,excluding the interference of demographic factors, we found that Attributionalstyle score is inversely proportional to turnover intention, Positive attributionalstyle score is inversely proportional to turnover intention, Negative attributional style score is proportional to turnover intention,Stable dimension attributed score isproportional to turnover intention. The other two dimensions of attribution is notdetected significantly associated to turnover intention.Conclusion(1)Private enterprise employees widespread have higher turnover intention, and theirattributional style is manifested in more stable pessimistic explanatory style.(2) In this study, the private enterprises employees of different seniority, gender did notdetect significant difference in attributional style, turnover intention, but26yearsold to35years old employees showed the highest turnover intention andnegative attributional style, and employees with higher degrees have higher turnoverintention.(3)Positive attribution score is significant inversely proportional to turnover intention,Negative attributional style score is proportional to turnover intention.(4)Stable dimension attributed score is proportional to turnover. The other twodimensions of attribution are not detected significantly associated to turnover intention.(5)Attributional style is an effective predictor source of turnover intention, therefore itcan effectively predict employee turnover.According to the results of this study, this paper presents the attributiontraining methods to improve the attributional style of private enterprise employees, anincrease of employees attributed to the enthusiasm, and reduce the stabilityof attribution, which can reduce the purpose of employee turnover tendency.
