A Study On Nursery Rhymes Created By Korean Ethnic Group In China

After settling in China, the ethnic Koreans created and developed their own distinctive culture and have made a major contribution in enriching the treasures of Chinese culture. Nursery rhyme is no exception.This thesis attempts a comprehensive and systematic analysis on nursery rhymes of China’s Korean ethnic group based on existing research results, and by taking the "Anthology of Nursery Rhymes Created by China’s Korean Ethnic Group" as the major study object, and "50Years of Our Folk Songs","Songs during Ethnic Suffering Period", etc. as references.For the convenience of study, the development course of ethnic Korean nursery rhyme is divided into migration period, development period, inactive period, and revival period, and detailed analysis and in-depth study on historical background, major works, and main artists of nursery rhymes created in the respective periods are attempted. Following Chapter1Introduction, Chapter2analyzes the influence of traditional music and folk music of other ethnic groups on forming process of ethnic Korean nursery rhymes, as well as the major works and artists of that period. In Chapter3, the nature and social background of nursery rhymes of development period are analyzed, as well as major works and artists; in Chapter4inactive period, the monotonous journey of nursery rhymes is analyzed and its cause is identified; and in Chapter5revival period, background of the emergence of diversification in the nursery rhymes is studied, as well as major works and artists.I hope the research findings of this thesis can be a basic material in the study of ethnic Korean nursery rhymes, and be a useful reference for the juniors who would like to study contemporary nursery rhymes.
