Southern Wu Dialect is the focus in today’s dialects of study. Jinhua Dialect, as the representative dialect of Southern Wu Dialect, has received dialect scholars’ attention, and research results is also quite rich. However, there is little specific research on the Yang Rhymes of Jinhua Dilaect, which became the weak link of the speech researching.Firstly from the medieval rhyme and group, the paper discussing the speech of Today’s Jinhua Dialect, which belongs to middle nine groups of xian shen, shan zhen、dang、jiang、zeng、geng and tong. According to the pronunciation types, the author divides the medieval rhymes and goup into five parts:xian and shan, shen and zhen, dang and jiang, zeng and geng, tong. Then, the author directly and fully describes the five parts, using method of chart and diagrams. From the synchronic and diachronic perspective, the author analysis each of the main vowel rhyme Characteristics and endings gradually changing reasons of Jinhua Dialect.The paper includes four parts. For the introduction chapter, it describes the region, history and present research situation of Jinhua dialect as well as the idea of the research topic, method and the source corpus. In chapter two we make a comprehensive study, firstly describes the common characteristics of Yang Rhymes in Jinhua Dilaect, then comprehensively discuss the Yang rhyme endings’types and what cause them disapper. The paper analysis from the geographical and sound management, and concludes three reasons:the pronunciation principle, region and language contact. Then forecast the Yang rhyme revolution trend of Jinhua Dialect. The third chapter respectively describes the five groups of the Yang rhyme in Jinhua Dialect, Including the type of tody’s pronunciation, pronunciation features and variation law. Besides, example words and charts for proving also included. Chapter four is the conclusion together with suggestions for future research.
