Soclalist Culture With Chinese Characteristics Of Innovation Theory Foundation And Path Selection

During the6th Plenary Session of the17th National people’s Congress of CPC, valuable practice and experience in China’s reforming in culture are summarized, the significance of strengthening culture construction pointed out, the guiding ideology to promote socialist cultural to develop greatly and prosperously and2020’s goals in the development of cultural industry put forward, and also some important tasks, through which the great attention, can be seen, that our Party has paid to the reform of the cultural system and cultural innovation. So, it is more important for China, a country with several-thousand-year’s culture, to correctly deal with the problems concerning the relationships between culture’s nationalization and globalization, and its traditional and epochal characters, under the background of globalization, the furtherer cultural communication between nations and regions. Presently, it is a fact that cultural innovation has become an inevitable trend in China, and the problem of cultural innovation has become the priority. As a result, it is of great importance to study on theoretical basis and real way of the innovation of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.Firstly, the paper presents the common characteristic that culture has the ability to cover the interior and exterior performances of human beings and it has both the dynamic and static attributes at the same time, from the angle of cultural universality, starting with the discussions on "culture" by scholars at home and abroad. Then, it talks about the connotation of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics in the following aspects:guiding principles, applicable time and suitable regions, from which Jiang Zemin’s definition is generalized: socialist culture with Chinese characteristics is the culture with the guidance of Marxism, aiming to cultivate citizens who have high ideals, moral integrity, a good education and a strong sense of discipline, is national, scientific and popular socialist culture facing modernization, the world and the future.Secondly, the paper continues with Marxism as a starting point, discussing the Marxist theory of "historical materialism" of the "social existence and social consciousness" and of world history, the culture of Mao Zedong’s thought, Deng Xiao-ping’s thought, the culture of Jiang Zemin’s cultural thoughts, and Hu Jintao’s cultural thoughts, etc., regarding the Marxist theories as the soul of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics. Then it summarizes and analyzes the standard, and the word loyal and the will, Yin and Yang and several important categories of Chinese classical philosophy, which stand for "body" of the socialist culture with Chinese characteristic system. On this basis, it then sums up the several western thinkers’ such as Wittgenstein’s, Quinn’s, and Mathews’views, on behalf of the advanced achievements of western civilization, and the complement of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.Finally, on the basis of the theories mentioned above, this paper presents how the Party, government organs, universities and research institutions, social organizations and businesses to analyze them and obtain principles, and to promote innovation of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics in real life and how to put them into practice.Though the paper discusses both the theories and the practice of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics, it will pay more attention to discovering new ideas because the system socialist culture with Chinese characteristics is extremely huge.
