So far there are many researches on novels with a theme of referring to dream, especially the novels about marriage and love, however most of researches just focus on the detailed articles and writers but no take it into consideration as a part of the history of Chinese ancient literature, and also lack the total inspection in general.therefore the reason why I write this article is just to add up the weakness. In this article I just regard the description about the dream imagination in83articles accumulated in Chinese ancient novels referring to marriage and love as a research object which is divided into three chapters.Firstly, on the basis of the description of dreams in the ancient vernacular Chinese novels about love and marriage, separation of three types of description of dreams, explore the formation of motif reason and the cultural psychological connotation.Secondly, dream analysis described in the ancient vernacular Chinese novels about love and marriage in the performance and the structure of the function of literature on the text reading. Last, mining the ancient vernacular Chinese novels about love and marriage in the narration art dream. The fantasy mood and strange artistic effect brings the reader differs from other forms of art aesthetic enjoyment. The author tries to the above interpretation, Enables the reader to have a deeper understanding of the ancient vernacular Chinese novels about love and marriage in the depiction of dreams, thereby more comprehensive grasp of the overall feature.
