The Vocabulary Research Of Boai Dialect

BoAi Dialect are detailed records of zhuang dialect in Yun Nan BoAi town by Li Fanggui in nineteen thirties. It has rich lexical information, detailed and accurate describing, has the very high value of language, also is considered a pioneer of the Kam-Tai languages. Nowadays, the town of BoAi has been relocated because of the establishment of Baise reservoir, so the records of BoAi Dialect are more precious on the Zhuang Dialect research, especially on the Guangxi Gui Bian dialect research.This paper studies BoAi Dialect vocabulary from the two angles.The first, establish BoAi Dialect vocabulary database, then statistic and analysis vocabularies of BoAi Dialect by using of computer technology.The second, comparative research.(1) Compare with Tianlin zhuang dialect vocabulary, at the same time reference to the Guangxi Zhuang language based dialect of Wuming Zhuang, to observe changes and law of Gui Bian dialect;(2) Make statistical data processing and careful comparison on rich materials using the database, quantitative reflect the effects of Chinese on the BoAi Dialect.This paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter one Introduction. Mainly introduce the basic situation of BoAi town and BoAi Dialect, reason, on the basis of the topic, research content and material sources, research methods and phonetic system of BoAi dialect,Tianlin Zhuang dialect and Wuming dialect.Chapter two of database design and description. Introduce the database design and the research steps, Chinese loan words in the Zhuang language, the criterion of BoAi dialect vocabulary classification statistics.Chapter three of vocabulary comparison among zhuang dialect of BoAi, Tianlin and Wuming.Chapter four of BoAi dialect monosyllabic vernacular loanwords study, and distinguish Chinese dialect level.Chapter five is the conclusion of this paper, the main contents and conclusions are refined and summarized.
