The Research On The Prose Catalogue Of Wen Yuan Ying Hua

Wen Yuan Ying Hua, compiled under the auspice of government，is a full length ofliterary collective works of various authors. It has great literary and documentary values. Allround the literary achievement of Wen Yuan Ying Hua in resent ten years, few people hasmade analysis and researches from the perspective of classified catalogue. This phenomenonshows that parts of the classified catalogues appear stably in successive dynasties; and partsare relatively stable in some eras. The former appears because of the existence of feudalismrank orders and the latter is the product of the special time. Therefore, it is very valuable tomake a research on catalogue of Wen Yuan Ying Hua. This thesis, putting Wen Yuan Ying Huain a field of comparison, will have a study from muti-angles in the perspective of prosecatalogue.The first part is introduction, including the first and the second chapter. This part mainlyfocus on compilatory aims, compilatory process, process to be accepted, documentary valuesand deficiency of Wen Yuan Ying Hua, as well as its research achievement, research theoryand methods of this thesis, hoping to provide basic materials and framework for furtherwriting.The second part is the main body, including the third, the fourth and the fifth chapter. Inthis part, this thesis, through the comparison of catalogues between Wen Yuan Ying Hua andother reference books and collective books, gets the idea that characteristics of prosecatalogues in Wen Yuan Ying Hua is shown by two aspects: the prose catalogue of higherfrequency; prose catalogue with more catalogues. The prose catalogue in Wen Yuan Ying Huais not only the inheritance of Genus-books and collection in previous dynasty, but also has adeep impact on that in the following dynasties. Apart from its exemplary effect, Wen YuanYing Hua, can also reflect the politics, economy, culture and social situation in Tang and Songdynasty.The third part is the conclusion. It is a general review of introduction and the main body.Wen Yuan Ying Hua is a collection of catalogue. The research on its prose catalogue pioneers anew view on literary study, and offers a possibility for a comprehensive study of Wen YuanYing Hua.
