On Chinese and Western painting space for performance comparison research, hasbeen a fine arts research topic, from Mr. Zong Baihua’s" Chinese poetry and the spaceawareness expressed in Chinese and Western painting" and" the space awarenessexpressed" two articles to start this thesis studied so far, more than60years. On thetopic of scholars at home and abroad has many research results, there are also a lot ofresearch papers on this topic. But many topics, articles are from the idea to do generalcontrast, and repeated Mr Zong Baihua’s point of view, from our faces Chinese painting.So I think it is necessary to link the current space expression of Chinese paintinglanguage, to study this topic.Chinese and western traditional painting because of the cultural background andaesthetic differences, showing a distinct system and outlook. From the observationmethod to the performance language, Chinese painting and Western painting have asound system. This article from the spatial features and concepts, traditional Chinesepainting and Western painting tradition to compare. Chinese painting and the pursuit ofobjective and subjective blend of space, with integrated, image characteristics. Westernpainting is the pursuit of realistic3D illusion of space, time, still have characteristicssuch as objectivity. Analysis of Western concept of space can not be substituted intoChinese painting, as well as the Chinese traditional concept of space for thedevelopment of Chinese painting of the important value。...
