Language ability is one of the basic skills higher education talented must have. It isan important aspect composed of the overall quality of the people, to the people’soverall quality of the formation, to the promotion of the intrinsic development. Butnowadays the college graduates show the psychological tension in the job interview,they can not express their own opinions appropriately. The resume and cover letterwriting format is not correct with poor vocabulary content, without the phraseexpression, using the wrong character, punctuation abuse frequently. Moreover, themandarin is not standard, often with a dialect, the language standard consciousness,language elementary knowledge and the application of common style writing----thephenomenon such as lack of knowledge not only reflects in the college students inscience and engineering colleges, but also part of normal colleges liberal arts collegestudents, it reflects the language application ability of college students is low. What isthe reason of this kind of phenomenon? What effective measures should we take? Basedon the college students’ written language’s abnormal phenomena as the breakthroughpoint, I will give my comprehensive investigation and discussion on the aboveproblems.The first chapter is an introduction. Mainly introduces the origin of the topicselection, combs and reviews the language of the regulation of the related research,explains the purpose and significance of the research, the content of the research as wellas the methods.The second chapter is about college students’ paper language is not standard. Firstof all, investigate the college students’ ability to use the language. This investigation tocollege students’ papers written language in the abnormal phenomena of the actualsurvey materials as the basis, to ensure the collection to the corpus of college studentscan reflect the use of language ability----so, as far as possible to have extensive corpus,namely to a higher normal colleges among college students as the object of paperinvestigation, at the same time ensure the typical of the collection. Even so, the thesisgathered in the corpus can only reflect some cases of college students; it still can’t morerepresent all university students’ level of language using. Therefore we gather from“The Syntax of Rhetorical Speech” and its exercises,“Modern Chinese LanguageMistake ",“Chinese Language Construction"," Applied Linguistics "----15different example types of vocational and common higher normal colleges, investigates part of368college students the basic knowledge of language study. Second, the words use,punctuation, summaries, notes, reference nonstandard phenomenon are investigated aswell.Chapter3is an analysis of the non-standard paper language of college students.First of all, it analyzed the causes on the present situation of college students’ using thelanguage ability. I used the method of questionnaire investigation. The survey resultsshowed that the mistakes of the confounding factors in language education andlanguage education are the main reasons for the college students language lowability.The former mainly English to Chinese shocks and sociol-linguistic environment(such as the phenomenons of advertising language, network language, media language,street words,) has a subtle impact on university students’ awareness of languagespecification; the latter is mainly for the teaching goals of colleges and universities, theteaching content, teaching materials, teaching methods and teaching evaluationmechanisms still need to be reformed and improved in some aspects.Second, the use ofnonstandard punctuation, summaries, notes, references, mainly by university studentsare determined by the psychological factors, the sense of attitude, character informationprocessing system, the mastery of knowledge of language specification, routine training,proficiency.Chapter four is specific in the phenomenon of language countermeasures. Thischapter is an investigation on the basis of a nonstandard language of college students inthe second chapter, and the proposed strategy in the third chapter. Including twomeasures----the errors of the confounding factors for language education and languageeducation.In order to have a certain practicality of students language capabilities, the paper ismainly used in the study of documentary research of the sort of information, literature,and the use of the questionnaireSPSS17.0software, the data obtained from the line,processing, analysis of the causes of the problem on this basis, the strategy is to ensurethat a comprehensive survey of the non-standard language in the student paper to beobjective, comprehensive. This method is quantitative and qualitative analysis of textualcontent combine to make the study more scientific, objective, which is the innovation inthis research paper. The significance of the paper is:the phenomenon of non-standard of students’ paperlanguage is only one aspect of language using, it reflects the quality of students thelanguage and the ability to use language. To study it, on the one hand, to accurate theexpression, communication, and to prepare for future employment, to enhance their ownability; on the other hand, to standardize the using of language and mother-tongueeducation level, even to improve the quality of our citizens.
