Entrepreneur is the backbone of social wealth creation. Their mental health and behavior style will have a direct impact on social economic income-generating。After reading the related theory on job stress at home and abroad, using interviews and questionnaires, the study researched private entrepreneurs of Hangzhou and compiled 《job stress questionnaire of Hangzhou entrepreneur》Upon examination, the validity and reliability of the questionnaire reached the survey requirements. Secondly, using mental health questionnaire and wellbeing questionnaire, we surveyed300entrepreneurs and managers of different industries in Hangzhou. We discussed the effect of demographic information on job stress, wellbeing, and mental health by variance analysis; we discussed the relationship of the job stress, wellbeing and mental health of Hangzhou merchants by correlation analysis. We verified the mediating role of wellbeing by regression analysis. Research results are as follows:1Hangzhou entrepreneur’s job stress questionnaire contains4factors:business management, self-perceptions, policy factors, and working changes。2The job stress, wellbeing and mental health of Hangzhou entrepreneur are all moderate.3different demographic variables have significant effects on job stress、wellbeing and mental health of Hangzhou entrepreneur. Such as gender、age、title、nature of enterprise、working time、enterprise scale have all notable effects on some dimensions or total of job stress、wellbeing and mental health. Marital status has only significant impact on positive emotions and Chinese cultural identity.4There is significant negative correlation between job stress and wellbeing、 wellbeing and mental health; there is significant positive between job stress and mental health.5Job stress negatively forecast wellbeing while positively forecast mental health; wellbeing negatively forecast mental health.6Wellbeing plays a part of the intermediary role in job stress and mental health.
