You Fengwei is one of contemporary writers filled with justice and responsibility. His work is always related to the life and focus on the present based on history and people. He can be regarded as an "anomaly" in the contemporary history of literature. His works involve a lot of subjects including the war of resistance against Japan, land reform, against the Right deviation, Cultural Revolution and the bottom of the population. Also, You Fengwei is always with a deep suffering consciousness and compassion reveals the historical and social pain in the process of writing. It is the pain why You Fengwei’s various works are full of great tribulation. Therefore, he was known as one of the most denotative contemporary writer. The idea of the thesis is from suffering and scars in You Fengwei’s works.This thesis is divided into five main parts including introduction and conclusion. In the part of introduction, the creation process of You fengwei’s novel was systematic analyzed; the current academic research status were reviewed in You Fengwei’s novels; and this article described the research perspective and research significance. The first part introduces the suffering theme of all kinds of You Fengwei’s novels. The misery narration is mainly reflected in two aspects:historical memory and reality. By the method of work discussion, the author thought that suffering consciousness exists everywhere in Fengwei creative career. The second part starts from the reason for suffering theme, discussing the root of the suffering theme. In the third part, the author tries to discuss varied text structures, micro personal point of view of narrative strategies and the unique style of language. The conclusion discusses the Fengwei novels Literary Significance of the present real-life inspiration, and the inevitable limitations of the Department. The author believes that no one is perfect, no work is perfect. The works have already offered indispensable wealth. A lot of meaningful literary works of Fengwei You cannot be replaced.
